Ranchi: Public sector lender UCO Bank has announced impressive financial results for the first quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (ended June 30, 2026). The bank’s total business grew by 15.53 percent year-on-year to reach ₹12.05 lakh crore. Within this, total advances rose by 21.18 percent to ₹2.73 lakh crore, and total deposits increased by 11.28 percent to ₹9.32 lakh crore. The bank’s CASA (Current Account Savings Account) deposits grew by 12.34 percent to ₹1.16 lakh crore, with a CASA ratio of 36.94 percent.
The bank maintained strong growth in the Retail, Agriculture, and MSME (RAM) sectors; total advances in this category rose by 25.27 percent to ₹1.58 lakh crore. Operating profit surged by 79.84 percent to ₹2,810 crore, while net profit recorded a massive 505 percent increase, reaching ₹1,988 crore. Improvements in asset quality were also noted, with Gross NPA declining to 2.08 percent and Net NPA to 0.25 percent. The Provision Coverage Ratio stood at 97.85 percent, and the Capital Adequacy Ratio was 19.03 percent. The bank highlighted that 51 percent of its more than 3,300 branches are located in rural and semi-urban areas, thereby strengthening financial inclusion.
