Koderma, Jharkhand:
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Jharkhand’s formation, the district administration of Koderma organized a special event titled “Run for Jharkhand” on Tuesday. The event was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Rituraj from Maharana Pratap Chowk, marking the official inauguration of the Silver Jubilee celebrations in the district.
Citizens Participate with Zeal and Unity
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from district officials, students, athletes, and citizens, all joining hands to celebrate the spirit of unity, development, and progress. Led by DC Rituraj, participants completed the run with great energy, pledging to contribute to the building of a strong, peaceful, and prosperous Jharkhand.
The initiative aimed to promote mass participation in the State Foundation Day celebrations while spreading the message of fitness, harmony, and continuous growth. Participants in both boys’ and girls’ categories showcased commendable performances, and winners were felicitated with shields for securing first, second, and third positions.
DC Rituraj Emphasizes Unity and Development
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Rituraj said that the 25th anniversary of Jharkhand’s formation is a moment of immense pride for every resident of the state. He highlighted the collective responsibility of citizens to continue the journey of growth, unity, and prosperity that Jharkhand has undertaken over the past two and a half decades.
“Our young Jharkhand has completed 25 years of its formation. On this proud occasion, we pledge to preserve and promote the state’s rich traditions and culture while striving for sustainable development and inclusive progress,” said DC Rituraj during his address.
Officials and Citizens Join the Celebration
The event saw the presence of several senior officials, including Superintendent of Police Anudeep Singh, Deputy Development Commissioner Ravi Jain, Sub-Divisional Officer Riya Singh, District Transport Officer Vijay Kumar Soni, District Sports Officer Tushar Rai, and District Land Acquisition Officer Om Prakash Mandal, along with other officials, staff members, and a large gathering of citizens.The “Run for Jharkhand” event served as a symbol of unity and progress, reflecting the aspirations of a vibrant and developing Jharkhand as it celebrates 25 years of statehood.
