Koderma: A case of rape has come to light in Bagdo, under the Domchanch police station area. The victim, a woman, filed a complaint stating that on Friday evening around 5 PM, while she was sleeping with her child, Nandlal Pandit (34, son of Tulsi Pandit) allegedly raped her at knifepoint and threatened to kill her child.

The complaint added that her husband was away in Barkattha for work, while her mother-in-law and sister-in-law were in the fields. When her mother-in-law returned home and tried to stop the accused, he fled the scene, leaving his motorcycle behind. He later called the victim and threatened that if she filed a complaint, he would kill her entire family.

Domchanch police station in-charge Abhimanyu Parihari confirmed that a complaint has been received and action is underway. Authorities said the accused will be apprehended soon.
