Kisko, Lohardaga (Jharkhand): The Adarsh Motor Transport Cooperative Society Limited, Kisko Lohardaga, held its general meeting at Dhurva Mor Ground under the chairmanship of President Kuddus Ansari. Dozens of truck owners attended the meeting, where five key issues were discussed in detail, focusing on the protection of truck owners’ rights and maintaining transparency in society operations.

Strong Opposition to Unauthorized Truck Number Additions

During the discussions, members unanimously agreed that any violation of the society’s established guidelines would not be tolerated. President Kuddus Ansari took a firm stance against Hindalco Company’s alleged unilateral decision to allot two new truck numbers without the association’s consent.

Ansari asserted that the association will never support arbitrary actions by any company that harm the interests of truck owners. He warned that if Hindalco continues to increase truck numbers without proper consultation, all truck owners affiliated with the society would halt their operations and stage a strong protest.

Call for Disciplinary Action Against Misleading Individuals

Ansari also alleged that certain individuals misinformed the society’s patron, Dheeraj Prasad Sahu, falsely claiming that truck owners had approved the increase in truck numbers. He emphasized that the association will identify and take strict disciplinary action against those responsible for spreading misinformation.

He reaffirmed that the ban on increasing truck numbers, which has been in place since 2015, will continue. Any attempts to alter this long-standing policy will face strong resistance from the society and its members.

Five Key Issues Discussed

The meeting focused on five major issues, including:

  1. Protection of truck owners’ interests and rights
