Ranchi: In a shocking incident that highlights the rising crime in the city, a man was shot in broad daylight in the Kathal Mod area under Daladali OP limits in Ranchi. The sudden firing incident caused panic in the locality, sending shockwaves among the residents.

According to sources, unidentified criminals opened fire on the victim, injuring him seriously. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment. The condition of the injured person remains critical, as per initial reports.

Following the incident, police reached the scene and began an investigation. Authorities have started examining CCTV footage from nearby areas and collecting eyewitness accounts to identify and apprehend the attackers.
