Bokaro: A workers’ meet-up ceremony was organized by the Ranchi unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) at the Sarna Jatra Ground in Nagri, Ranchi. AAP State In-charge Shivcharan Goyal attended the event as the Chief Guest, while State Co-in-charge Sushil Singh was present as the Guest of Honor.
The program commenced with the garlanding of the portrait of Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. During the event, hundreds of men and women joined the Aam Aadmi Party under the leadership of senior social worker Shani Oraon.
Addressing the gathering, State In-charge Mr. Goyal stated that the entire state of Jharkhand is currently looking toward the Aam Aadmi Party with hope. The people of the state are observing the work being done by the AAP governments in Delhi and Punjab. He emphasized that Jharkhand, too, requires a governance model featuring initiatives such as free electricity and water, quality education and healthcare, free bus travel for women, and pilgrimage schemes for the elderly.
Co-in-charge Sushil Singh remarked that Shani Oraon and the workers who have joined alongside him will play a pivotal role in strengthening and expanding the party’s organizational structure. He noted that the party is gaining strength in every district of Jharkhand and is actively raising various local public issues. Calling upon the party workers, he urged them to ensure that the party now establishes itself in Jharkhand as a powerful and resonant voice.
Other speakers who shared their views at the event included State Secretary Pritam Mishra, State Spokesperson Bhaskar Suman, State Media In-charge Prabhat Sharma, State Legal Cell In-charge Amit Kumar, and Laxman Singh.
