CCL retired employees honoured as 132 workers bid farewell in Ranchi

Ranchi: CCL retired employees were given a dignified farewell as Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) organised a grand felicitation ceremony at its headquarters in Ranchi on Monday. Six employees retiring from the headquarters in August 2026 were honoured, while retired employees from various CCL areas were also felicitated at programmes held in their respective areas. In all, 132 employees retiring from the CCL headquarters and different areas were given a formal farewell. A short film was also screened during the ceremony at the CCL headquarters, in which the retiring employees shared their experiences, emotions and memories from their years of service. The six employees retiring from the headquarters are Rajesh Mohan, General Manager (Civil), Welfare and Services/Civil Department; Dr Rajiv Kumar Jaiswal, CMO, Darbhanga House Dispensary; Sunita Ravi, Matron A-1, Gandhi Nagar Hospital;  Abanidhar  Mukherjee, Driver, Excavation Department; Govardhan Ram, Duplicate/Xerox Operator, Finance (Salary Cell); and Tulsi Kerketta, Ward Attendant, Gandhi Nagar Hospital. Director (Human Resources) Harsh Nath Mishra and Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Pankaj Kumar attended the programme as the chief guests. Addressing the retiring employees, Harsh Nath Mishra congratulated them and extended his best wishes for their long years of service and dedication to the company. He said the contribution of every employee had been important to CCL’s progress. He added that retirement is not the end of service but the beginning of a new chapter in life, and wished all the retirees a healthy, happy and prosperous future. CVO Pankaj Kumar said the retiring employees had played an important role in taking CCL forward through their experience, hard work and commitment. He described their contribution and experience as an invaluable asset for the company and extended his wishes to the retirees and their family members for a bright, healthy and happy future.\n\n General managers, heads of departments, officers, employees and family members of the retiring employees attended the ceremony in large numbers. All the retiring employees were presented with shawls, bouquets and mementoes as part of the farewell.
