Five Accused Arrested for Machete Attack in Ulidih; All Sent to Jail

Jamshedpur: Acting swiftly in connection with an incident involving a machete attack near the Moon City Sai Temple within the Ulidih police station limits, the police have arrested five accused individuals. Following the completion of judicial formalities, all the accused were sent to jail on Saturday.

According to reports, the accused had attacked Shritij Singh with a machete, following which an FIR was registered at the Ulidih police station based on the victim’s complaint. Immediately after the case was registered, the police launched a raid operation and apprehended the accused.

The arrested individuals include Rahul Sharma (a resident of Sharma Line, Ulidih), Shubham Singh (a resident of Bagan Area, Baliguma), Anis Mishra alias Anis Singh (a resident of Triveni Kishori Complex, Ulidih), Varun Pal (a resident of Asha Palace, Ulidih), and Anis Singh (a resident of Old Purulia Road). The police took all of them into custody for interrogation and, after completing the necessary legal proceedings, sent them to jail.

In this regard, the In-charge of the Ulidih police station stated that the matter was taken seriously, and prompt action was initiated. He asserted, “Strict measures will be taken against anyone attempting to disrupt law and order. The police are maintaining constant vigilance to preserve peace in the area, and no form of criminal activity will be tolerated.”
